Dans de nom\u00adbreuses r\u00e9gions, les femmes utilisent des mat\u00e9ri\u00adaux naturels tels que le bois, le coton, la laine et les plantes pour cr\u00e9er des objets arti\u00adsanaux. La d\u00e9gra\u00adda\u00adtion de l\u2019en\u00advi\u00adron\u00adnement et la diminu\u00adtion de la bio\u00addi\u00adver\u00adsit\u00e9 ren\u00addent ces mat\u00e9ri\u00adaux plus rares et plus chers, ce qui met en p\u00e9ril leur activ\u00adit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Au S\u00e9n\u00e9\u00adgal, par exem\u00adple, les femmes qui fab\u00adriquent des paniers en van\u00adner\u00adie sont con\u00adfron\u00adt\u00e9es \u00e0 la dis\u00adpari\u00adtion pro\u00adgres\u00adsive des roseaux, leur mati\u00e8re pre\u00admi\u00e8re. En Inde, les arti\u00adsanes qui tis\u00adsent des tapis en laine doivent faire face \u00e0 la s\u00e9cher\u00adesse et \u00e0 la diminu\u00adtion du nom\u00adbre de mou\u00adtons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elles met\u00adtent \u00e9gale\u00adment en place des pra\u00adtiques de ges\u00adtion durable des ressources naturelles.Au Maroc, les femmes qui fab\u00adriquent de l\u2019huile d\u2019ar\u00adgan ont cr\u00e9\u00e9 des coop\u00e9ra\u00adtives pour pro\u00adt\u00e9ger les arganiers, des arbres pr\u00e9\u00adcieux qui lut\u00adtent con\u00adtre la d\u00e9ser\u00adti\u00adfi\u00adca\u00adtion. Elles utilisent des m\u00e9th\u00adodes tra\u00addi\u00adtion\u00adnelles de r\u00e9colte et de trans\u00adfor\u00adma\u00adtion qui pr\u00e9ser\u00advent l\u2019en\u00advi\u00adron\u00adnement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elles parta\u00adgent leurs con\u00adnais\u00adsances et leurs exp\u00e9ri\u00adences avec leurs com\u00admu\u00adnaut\u00e9s et encour\u00ada\u00adgent les pra\u00adtiques durables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De nom\u00adbreuses organ\u00adi\u00adsa\u00adtions sou\u00adti\u00aden\u00adnent les femmes arti\u00adsanes dans leur adap\u00adta\u00adtion au change\u00adment cli\u00adma\u00adtique. Elles leur four\u00adnissent une for\u00adma\u00adtion tech\u00adnique, un acc\u00e8s au finance\u00adment et un appui \u00e0 la com\u00admer\u00adcial\u00adi\u00adsa\u00adtion de leurs pro\u00adduits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019UNESCO a lanc\u00e9 un pro\u00adgramme mon\u00addi\u00adal pour pro\u00admou\u00advoir l\u2019ar\u00adti\u00adsanat durable et soutenir les arti\u00adsans dans leur lutte con\u00adtre le change\u00adment cli\u00adma\u00adtique. Ce pro\u00adgramme vise \u00e0 pr\u00e9serv\u00ader le pat\u00adri\u00admoine cul\u00adturel et \u00e0 am\u00e9lior\u00ader les con\u00addi\u00adtions de vie des com\u00admu\u00adnaut\u00e9s locales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
